The Flight watch is Orient’s take on the quintessential, classic Pilot’s piece. It’s known for its flawless legibility which is reinforced by robust lume, making it as easy to read in the day time as it is at night.
The dial layout of the Flight is referred to as a “Type B” pilot watch, wherein the large outer numbers conform to a 60 minute scale, and the inner smaller numbers are laid out in a 12 hour format.
Aside from the already mentioned impressive lume, the Flight boasts a highly resilient brushed stainless steel case. We’ve found that the brushed metal does a great job at hiding any kind of scratches on the watch, a big plus for those who plan to wear it in the outdoors. The watch case is rated for 100m water resistance, which is regulated by a screwed down watch crown.
